Enrichment Activities

Show all activities
We strive for all our young people to achieve their full potential. With our enriched and broad curriculum, our pupils have opportunities to try new things, develop their skills and excel.

Swimming

At Carlton Digby School, pupils are able to access off-site swimming at Calverton Leisure Centre or on-site water-based learning in our hydrotherapy pool. Pupils attend sessions based on their individual needs.

Educational Visits

We always try to enhance the relevance of the pupils’ learning and where appropriate off-site visits are arranged as an extension to the curriculum with a view to broadening the children’s learning experiences. Some trips are local; St Anns Allotments, Goose Fair, Greens Mill, local libraries and parks. Others are further afield and include Conkers, The Birmingham Sea life Centre, The Magna Centre and Drayton Manor Park.

Extended School Visits

We regularly take some our young people away on residential visits. Places that we have enjoyed visiting include Hagg Farm, Lea Green, Beamsley. Wingate.

Community Access

At Carlton Digby School, we enjoy being part of our local community.
