We are committed to developing the ‘whole person’ and the ‘good character’ of each student through access to experiences that enable them to both progress and succeed and ultimately to be the ‘best they can be’.We are pleased to be rated as an ‘Outstanding’ College by Ofsted but more importantly we are proud of the outstanding progress each of our students make. We use a national value added measure, ALPs, which is recognised by Ofsted. This measures the progress each student makes at College in relation from their GCSE results to their results at A-level or Level 3 T Level, BTEC or CTEC. On this basis, Notre Dame’s value added scores put us as one of the top Sixth Form Colleges.We believe that each student is an individual, exceptional and needs to be valued. High quality teaching and learning, coupled with exceptional pastoral support provides the inspiration and motivation to realise every young person’s aspiration. Our students really fulfil their potential with us progressing onto prestigious universities and rewarding careers. Our aim is to provide students with the very best possible education, to help them develop new interests and to use whatever talents they have in the service of the College and the wider community.
