“The Sixth Form has some incredible tutors and teachers who clearly love what they do, and want to see their students succeed. Lean into that, and use their prior knowledge and experience as an aid for you and your career path. As for the courses, you'll be studying them for two or more years, so having a subject that you can 'relax' and put your mind to in a different way will really help and excel your time at the college.”

Since leaving The Sixth Form with A Level in Fine Art, Graphics and Mathematics, Mollie has begun her Graphic Design degree at University of Huddersfield.

"Use your time at The Sixth Form wisely, it is one of the most important steps in your education. Aim to study subjects which you believe will help you in your future career. Most importantly, explore all career paths and routes that interest you as much as possible.”

After completing his studies at The Sixth Form with A Level in History, Law and Mathematics, Brian joined Eversheds Sutherland as an Apprentice Solicitor. He progressed at Eversheds to become a Trainee Solicitor and then moved to become an Associate at Hill Dickinson and is now a Solicitor in the Employment team at CG Professional.

"Sometimes life does not go the way you had it planned but, there is always a broader picture. Don’t narrow yourself in too much whereby you might feel lost if you fall slightly off track. The Sixth Form gave me an opportunity to become independent and take the knowledge I have learned to apply to the world outside of education. With the help I received, I was supported along my journey to become the person I am today. I started off with the view to go into healthcare, but I realised that isn’t what I wanted to do long-term and, my skill set was better suited elsewhere. Taking those transferable skills, I was able to gain knowledge in different industries and organisations and roles."

He took the subjects Business, Biology and Chemistry. Since leaving the Sixth Form B6, Hiren begun to take BA (Hons) Business and Management – Leeds Beckett University / Industrial Placement: Baum Trading (2017-2018) / BA Business and Management – University of Hull (2015-2018).
