At Milton Keynes Academy, we offer a broad and balanced range of exciting and stimulating educational trips and events. The opportunities we offer have a positive impact on raising standards, accessing the curriculum beyond the classroom and helping create cultural capital for our students. Our trips and visits allow students to develop and promote the schools’ values and ethos.
Developing student leadership is key, not only does it improve core skills such as communication, organisational skills, and time management it also allows students to develop their character by inputting their thoughts to wider school priorities. The school leadership team at Milton Keynes Academy reinforce the schools’ values which are Respect, Responsibility, Resilience, Aspiration and Equality to create a climate of great learning, success, and opportunity.
Our trips and visits extend beyond the classroom, allowing students to enrich their understanding and knowledge of the subject.
A range of extra-curricular activities are available for students both mornings, breaks and after school. (Sports, Games, Art, Drama,etc.)
