Welcome to Dixons Allerton Academy

Dixons Allerton Academy is a great place to study to take the next steps on your learning journey towards university, apprenticeship or employment. We have high expectations and promote an ethos of professionalism through our code of conduct and academic rigour.Young people need skills for a rapidly changing work-place that requires people who are able to adapt, be resourceful, innovate, have quality inter-personal skills and work effectively in teams. We are big enough to create a lively and stimulating atmosphere and to offer a broad range of courses, but small enough for students to get a supportive personalised approach that will prepare them both intellectually and emotionally for a successful life.We offer a wide range of courses at Level 3 (advanced study), that include a variety of academic A levels and vocational courses (BTEC and OCR). The wider programme of study includes: work related learning, independent study skills, university visits and career development.Central to our commitment is high quality teaching leading to a high quality learning experience. We embrace innovation and future technologies and implement these into our day to day life. Many of our own students choose to continue their studies at Dixons Allerton Academy and for good reasons. If you are considering applying to us from another school, you will find the atmosphere friendly and open. We admit a number of external applicants each year, and you will soon feel very much a part of the team. We take great pride in the good relationships that exist between students and staff and within the student body. As you near the end of Year 11, you are faced with a range of choices including employment, training, or continuing your studies elsewhere. You need to explore all these paths and get advice from many sources.
