Thank you for considering Oasis Academy Shirley Park. Oasis Academy Shirley Park Sixth Form was established in 2011 and has since rapidly expanded and progressed. In 2018 and 2019 we ranked 1st in Croydon for A Level progress and in 2019 we ranked 46th out of over 4300 colleges and sixth forms across the country. Post pandemic we have maintained this success and were ranked 2nd in Croydon on 2024.We are proud of our diverse and supportive sixth form community. We welcome over a third of our students from external schools. Our mixed year 12 and 13 tutor groups and encourage positive, supportive relationships between year groups. This helps all our year 12 students to navigate the challenging transition from KS4 to KS5.We have developed strong partnerships with local, national and international businesses and design a structured programme of enrichment activities and career guidance.Every year since 2019 approximately 50% of students have been offered places at least one Russell Group university, including the University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, University College London, London School of Economics and Universities of Bristol, Leeds, Manchester, York, Southampton and many more. We believe it is our duty to support our community beyond their time with us, therefore we offer careers guidance and application support to all of our alumni.
