🎓 Alumni Spotlight: Klaudiusz – From School Roots to AI Frontiers Klaudiusz’s journey with us began in secondary school, and from the start, he stood out for his thoughtful approach to learning and his fascination with technology. His time at our secondary school laid the foundation for a strong academic path, and we were thrilled when he chose to continue with us into sixth form. During his sixth form years, Klaudiusz worked with focus and determination, earning five Level 3 qualifications that opened the door to study Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at Edge Hill University. His success is a reflection of his hard work and the supportive environment he helped shape here. Now at Edge Hill, Klaudiusz is diving into the world of algorithms, machine learning, and ethical AI. He’s exploring how technology can solve real-world problems—and how it can be designed responsibly. “Staying on for sixth form was the best decision I made. I knew the teachers, I knew the environment, and I felt supported every step of the way,” Klaudiusz shares. We’re proud to have been part of Klaudiusz’s journey and excited to see how he’ll shape the future of technology.

Philosophy

🎓 Alumni Spotlight: Ross’s Path from Sixth Form to Philosophy Ross’s journey through our school is a testament to curiosity, growth, and the power of asking big questions. Having joined our sixth form after five successful years in our secondary school, Ross was already a familiar face—but his sixth form experience allowed him to truly come into his own. Choosing to study Religious Studies, Psychology, and Criminology, Ross gravitated toward subjects that explored human nature, belief systems, and society’s structures. His teachers recall his thoughtful approach to learning—always eager to dig deeper, challenge assumptions, and connect ideas across disciplines. Ross was especially drawn to philosophical questions that emerged in all three subjects. Whether discussing ethical dilemmas in criminology or the nature of consciousness in psychology, he brought a reflective and analytical mindset to every conversation. It was no surprise when he decided to pursue Philosophy at university, where he continues to explore the ideas that first sparked his interest here. Beyond academics, Ross contributed meaningfully to sixth form life. He was a regular in discussion groups, supported peers through mentoring, and helped organise leadership projects that encouraged open dialogue and critical thinking. His quiet leadership and genuine curiosity made him a valued member of our community. Ross is now thriving at university, studying Philosophy and continuing to ask the questions that matter. We’re proud to have been part of his journey—and excited to see where his thinking takes him next.
