I invested a lot of time in internships and work experience placements to gain professional experience, and to explore various career paths. I completed a gap year internship in management consulting before going to university, and I was able to use that to secure investment banking internships at university. Along with university projects and university society leadership positions, I was able to secure an internship and a career as a Product Manager at Google in California.

University
I completed A Levels at Hardenhuish in PE, Sociology and Psychology. I went on to do my undergraduate degree in Physical Education at the University of Worcester and graduated from this in 2022. I have now moved on to a masters degree in Sports Coaching which I will be completing in the summer of 2023.

I dropped out of university after 2 years as I didn't feel my degree would open up the right opportunities for me. I subsequently applied for an entry level role in the Ministry Of Defence where I have been for the past 9 years, progressing through the ranks in my specialist field as a Supply Chain Manager. Today, I manage a team tasked with keeping the Army's vehicles and equipment serviceable and able to operate throughout the world. Through sheer determination and being honest with myself, I have pushed myself outside of my comfort zone and have secured a career with unlimited opportunities in roles where I know I am making a difference. The opportunities afforded to me since joining the Ministry Of Defence have been both challenging and thoroughly enjoyable in equal measures. I know that despite never having studied logistics or supply chain management at degree level, my GCSE and A Level in Business Studies, both taken at Hardenhuish, gave me the foundation and an understanding for the career path I have chosen.
