Wellington School Sixth Form is an integral part of our thriving and over-subscribed co-educational 11-18 Academy and in many ways sets the tone for the rest of the School. The sense of pride is pervasive at Wellington and the achievements of our students at all levels is reflected in our popularity as Sixth Form numbers continue to grow. The highest of standards and levels of performance, when measured against schools both locally and nationally, are a clear illustration of the value students and parents place on being part of Wellington School.In our view, a school should not only be judged on those tangibles, such as results and facilities, but also on the preparedness of its students to succeed in later life. We believe we serve our students well and post-16 ‘destinations’ would support this. The quality of provision in all its forms, the sheer dedication of students, staff and governors and the active engagement of parents, have all contributed to our School’s success.
