Our Sixth Form programme is designed to provide all students with exceptional support in achieving their personal and academic aspirations. In addition to providing an outstanding academic curriculum which has contributed to our excellent A Level results, we seek to provide all students with additional opportunities to gain experiences to become confident, happy and well-rounded young adults, who go on to thrive in their future careers and further education. Our Sixth Form provides excellent preparation for this through teaching and tutoring by our well-qualified and experienced staff, as well as through an extensive choice of enrichment, leadership and personal development programmes. 

The Sixth Form at Upton Court Grammar School is a large, vibrant community that prides itself on an inclusive and positive approach to personal development and we are very proud of the successes of all of our Sixth Form students. 

We are also lucky to be able to offer our Sixth Form students excellent facilities, including a fantastic Sixth Form Centre with spaces to suit different types of learning and self-study, as well as dedicated academic and pastoral support. 

We have high expectations of our students and look for prospective students who have excellent attendance, punctuality, standards of behaviour and a positive work ethic. We are justifiably proud of our examination successes and students’ destinations, which are a testament to the strong work ethic that is cultivated within the Sixth Form and the expertise and dedication of our teaching staff.

References must be completed and received by Wednesday 12th February (External students).

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE YOUR REFEREE HAS COMPLETED AND SUBMITTED A REFERENCE FOR YOU BY THIS DATE. THE AUTOMATIC REFERENCE REQUEST WILL BE SENT TO THE SCHOOL REFEREE CONTACT YOU GIVE ON THIS FORM AS SOON AS YOU SUBMIT YOUR COMPLETED APPLICATION. (External students).

NO LATE APPLICATIONS OR REFERENCES WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE DATES DETAILED ABOVE.

If we require further information we will contact you in due course. Otherwise, we will respond to your application after the closing date of January 31st at 4:00 p.m. and confirm conditional offers in the week commencing 17th March for internal candidates and conditional offers on 2nd May for external candidates.
