We welcome prospective Sixth Form pupils and their parents to our annual Open Evening, which will take place on Wednesday, 10th December 2025. Guests will hear from the Sixth Form Team, tour the school and meet staff and prefects in subject areas.  

We have two Open Mornings in December when prospective applicants can visit lessons and see the school as it is on a working day.  

For students who apply to OPGS Sixth Form, there are two Taster Days in June/July. Students will follow a Sixth Form timetable in their chosen subjects and meet their future classmates and teachers. In 2025, prospective students were given the opportunity to spend the second day in a university setting and work on a small project to sharpen their skills and build relationships before joining us in September.
