Welcome to St Edward's College

The most exciting phase of secondary education is the Sixth Form. Here young people make a journey from dependence to independence, are most able to discover and develop their own particular interests, passions and personality. It is the time when, as the senior students, they take a leading role within the school community, and as fellow adults enjoy a more mature relationship with their teachers and with one another.St Edward’s College Sixth Form provides both challenge and nurture for students at this crucial time in their intellectual and personal formation. Our long, proud history of intellectual endeavour and high achievement, our very strong sense of community and solidarity, our commitment to Catholic faith and values - all this provides a uniquely stimulating Sixth Form journey.Students at St Edward’s have the benefit of an ambitious yet supportive culture, a Sixth Form large enough to offer real breadth of opportunity yet small enough to know each individual and be attuned to their needs and provide personal care, advice and help. We work hard to ensure that our students emerge from their Sixth Form studies with the strong qualifications, broad interests and virtues of character to make a positive difference in the wider world of higher education and work.Come and join us!
