Welcome to the start of your post-16 pathway and thank you for considering Newton Abbot College Sixth Form as part of your journey.Our mission is for all Sixth Form students to fulfil their potential and realise their aspirations. As a team, we encourage all our students to aim high and firmly believe that every student can achieve.We are proud of our Sixth Form and believe that we provide students with a range of challenges and opportunities, which will enable them to flourish as individuals.Our Sixth Form continues to be the ‘Sixth Form of Choice’ for both Newton Abbot College students and many others. The Sixth Form comprises of approximately 200 students, which includes students from Torbay to Exeter who are joined by international students. This makes for a thriving, exciting and dynamic environment. We offer a wide range of courses which are delivered through high quality teaching across our A Levels, BTECs and Technical Qualifications.Dyrons House, our Sixth Form Centre, offers a common room with catering facilities and access to ICT and WI-FI, it is also home to our Hair and Beauty salons. Students have lessons across the college site giving them access to specialist high quality resources, science laboratories, drama, music and performance studios. We have excellent sports facilities through Newton Abbot Leisure Centre which provides access to its fitness suite, swimming pool and gymnasium. On college site facilities such as all-weather facilities and a playing field are also accessible. The Sixth Form Leadership Team will work alongside you in your journey. We proactively offer support and guidance when you need it for your time in our Sixth Form, and your future career pathways.
