Sixth Form Preparation Evening- Wednesday 8th July 2026

We will be holding our Sixth Form Preparation Evening for all prospective students for September on Wednesday 8th July from 6pm. Parents/Guardians are also welcome to attend the evening to help answer any questions you may have ahead of starting Sixth Form with us in September.During this event, we will share information about the enrolment process, uniform, transport, induction day in September and additional support available to students whilst studying with us. You will also be able to speak with your subject teachers and obtain any summer work or reading lists ahead of starting your course with us. Our uniform supplier Shotbowl will also be available to speak with throughout the evening regarding our course uniforms. Shotbowl will also provide samples of uniforms for students to view in a variety of sizes ahead of ordering course uniforms. To register your attendance for our Sixth Form Preparation Evening, please log into your Applicaa account and complete the invite for Preparation Evening. How can I apply for Sixth Form?

To apply for our Sixth Form, please visit our school website and follow the links to our Sixth Form area. Here you can click "Apply Now" to complete an application for Sixth Form. If you have any queries regarding applying for Sixth Form, please email 6thformoffice@uah.org.uk

When will I hear about my Sixth Form application?

Once you have submitted your application, we will process this and contact you with information regarding your interview details. All information regarding interviews will be emailled to you using the email you set up your Applicaa account with. If we need to contact you regarding your application, we will contact you for any information we need, or you need to know about your application with us.

I've had my Sixth Form interview, now what do I do?

Once you've had an interview with us, we will email you to confirm if we are able to make an offer of study and any information regarding the conditions of your offer with us. If we make an offer, please ensure that you respond to your offer as soon as possible.

How do I enroll for Sixth Form?

We hold our Sixth Form enrolment day in August and will contact applicants with information about when they can complete their enrolment with us. All enrolments will be completed using Applicaa and applicants can enroll for Sixth Form using the "Enrolment Form" on their Applicaa account. Please note that all accounts will be deactivated the day before Enrolment Day and applicants will be able to log in from 8am the following day to complete their enrolment form.

I've accepted my offer for Sixth Form, now what?

Once you accept your offer with us, we will be in contact with applicants during the summer term to invite them to our Sixth Form Preparation Evening. This event event will enable applicants to meet their subject teachers, obtain information on their chosen course(s) and other important information you need to know before enrolling and starting your course with us.

What are the entry requirements for Level 1 courses in Sixth Form?

For our Level 1 courses, applicants are required to achieve a minimum of 5 GCSE's grades 2-9 (including English and Maths).

What are the entry requirements for Level 2 courses in Sixth Form?

For Level 2 courses, applicants will need to achieve a minimum of 5 GCSE's grades 3-9 (including English Language, and or, Maths).

What are the entry requirements for Level 3 or T-Level courses in Sixth Form?

For Level 3 and T-Level courses, applicants should achieve a minimum of 5 GCSE's grades 4-9 (Including English Language, and or, Maths).

What are the entry requirements for A-Levels in Sixth Form?

For A-Level courses, applicants should achieve a minimum of grade 5 at GCSE in the subject or relevant subject or similar subject, and an additional 5 GCSE's grades 4-9 (including English Language, and or Maths, unless these are being studied at A-Level). If applicants wish to study A-Level Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Maths, a GCSE grade 6 or above will need to be achieved in GCSE subject or similar.
