The Sixth Form Enrichment Programme at The
Blue School offers a broad range of activities,
aimed at preparing our students for the
important transition between school and the
world of higher education and employment.
Your opportunity to give back to the school community. Be a student leader, working in departments
within the school leading activities to gain valuable life experiences.
Your opportunity to continue being physically active! Research shows as young people transition through
education the opportunities which they have to be physically active drop significantly. This is particularly
evident as students move into post 16 further education. We offer students the opportunity to attend
weekly gym sessions, or to use the facilities and equipment to participate in your sport of choice. Sixth
Form Football and Rugby teams have been a recent addition to our offering.
This can provide you with a number of skills which can show universities and employers that you have
made a commitment to a programme and followed it through. The scheme not only includes the
outdoor expedition, but also aspects of community service like running a bronze team, doing something
physical and skills improvement.
