Welcome to Hessle High School and Penshurst Primary School

The Consortium Sixth Form College works together across two campuses at Hessle and Wolfreton to provide a vibrant and successful community, supporting students in achieving their ambitions.

We have developed an exciting and varied range of courses that combines both new, vocational opportunities with the more traditional, long established subjects. This wide ranging offer enables our students to realise their ambitions; fulfilling their individual needs.

The Consortium Sixth Form College is friendly and welcoming. As a student with us you will experience new and different environments making it an ideal opportunity to make new friends. You will be treated as an individual and provided with all the support needed to help you achieve your aspirations. The quality of teaching delivered is of a very high standard and you can gain extra skills from our enrichment programme which also provide some light hearted fun!

Throughout the year, both campuses are a hive of social activity. The Student Council is actively involved in this, developing new ideas and supporting the management and leadership of the sixth form. You too can play an active part by becoming involved, planning, and organising fun events and activities for everyone to get stuck into.

Whether it’s a themed charity fundraising day, a BBQ or that all important final year prom, you can be sure that you’ll want to be a part of something that’s going on! Students can also take on the student ambassador role supporting subject areas and events such as open evenings.
