Welcome to Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School

WELCOME

As Director of HC6F I would like to welcome you. I am delighted to be part of a community of motivated young people in an environment with a drive for excellence.

As a successful and supportive Sixth Form College all staff, students and parents work together to ensure that students are able to meet their full academic potential and that they are prepared for a changing world.

Students at HC6F are fortunate to have exclusive use of purpose built facilities including; study areas, relaxation areas as well as a Sixth Form cafe.

We are very proud of the consistent success and achievements of our students. At the end of their two years at HC6F, students primarily go on to Higher Education and an increasing number onto higher degree apprenticeship.  This is testament to the success of the Sixth Form College in preparing students for a changing world.

We are proud of the varied opportunities that can be offered here at HC6F and we actively encourage students to take full advantage of these.  Included in these opportunities are student leadership positions, enrichment programme, extra-curricular activities and gifted and talented opportunities.

As a high performing Sixth Form setting we continue to pursue excellence in all that we do and in doing so we regularly review our provision.  At the forefront of this are the needs of the students and therefore student voice is at the heart of this.  We seek to ensure that students are at the heart of their sixth Form.

This is an exciting and crucial time in the educational journey of our young people. The Sixth Form team very much look forward to guiding our students through this journey to success and onto their next destination.
