Extra-curricular
We run a varied programme of Enrichment Activities to
which our students subscribe. We feel that these opportunities are vital in developing self-confidence,
community awareness, leadership skills, self-esteem and softer ‘Key Skills’.
The Brockhill Farm has a very active Young Farmers’ Club, which provides social opportunitiesand is headed by Sixth Form members. All students are welcome to join.
The Duke of Edinburgh Scheme is running at Brockhill and provides an excellent opportunity to complete the Silver or Gold Awards. These are highly valued and can bethe clincher in interviews, whether for employment or university.
There are many opportunities for you to join in with special activities dedicated to the Sixth Form or the general activities of the school. The sports facilities can be used for recreation – badminton, tennis, football and use of the gym in the fitness suite.
