Welcome to Epsom and Ewell High School
On behalf of the Sixth Form team, I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to all students joining us for this exciting and pivotal two-year academic journey. Whether you are continuing your studies with us or joining from another institution, we are committed to ensuring you have a fulfilling, enriching, and successful experience during your time here.I take immense pride in our Sixth Form, and I am eager to share some of the reasons why I believe it offers such a unique and exceptional environment for our students. One of our greatest strengths is the close-knit, supportive relationship between staff and students. This dynamic is not only indicative of a thriving school but also plays a key role in helping our students excel. Our teachers are dedicated professionals who go above and beyond to guide and motivate each student, ensuring that they have every opportunity to succeed. Our Sixth Form offers a wide range of A-Level and BTEC courses, and we are continually expanding and evolving our curriculum to meet the needs and interests of our students. As a Sixth Form student, you will enjoy a range of privileges, including access to dedicated study spaces, a smart-casual dress code, and a flexible timetable that allows you to develop valuable skills outside of the classroom alongside a comprehensive enrichment programme. At the same time, you will be encouraged to reach your full potential, both academically and personally. We recognise that each student is an individual with unique strengths and challenges, and we are committed to providing the highest level of pastoral support. Every student is assigned a member of staff who is there to offer guidance and support whenever needed. We are particularly proud of our recognition as the first secondary school in the UK to be awarded the prestigious 'Gold Mental Health Award.' This alongside the development of our inclusion suite highlights our commitment, passion and dedication to the well-being of our students, our staff are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where students can thrive. Our vision for our Sixth Form students is to provide a supportive and empowering environment where an increasing number of Sixth Form students are placed on the right courses, enabling them to build confidence, achieve academic success, and leave Epsom and Ewell High School fully prepared for their next steps. To begin the application process, please visit the admissions link on our website.I look forward to welcoming you to our Sixth Form community and supporting you throughout your journey here at Epsom and Ewell High School.Nimiane CoomberHead of Sixth Form
