Willenhall E-ACT Academy is a vibrant, oversubscribed, and inclusive school at the heart of our community, where students are proud to attend and staff are proud to work. We are a school on a rapid improvement journey, driven by a shared belief in the potential of every young person we serve.I was delighted to join Willenhall as Headteacher in December 2023. Since then, I’ve been focused on ensuring that every day here is calm, purposeful and welcoming, and that every student is supported to thrive—both academically and personally. At Willenhall, we believe in preparing our students not only for qualifications, but for life. That’s why our guiding mission is “Willenhall, then the World”—a mindset that inspires our students to aim high, dream big and leave school ready to make a difference.We are proud to be an inclusive school where diversity is celebrated and every child is valued. We work relentlessly to remove barriers and ensure that students with special educational needs, disabilities, or disadvantages are given the tools, support, and encouragement to succeed. Our SEND and pastoral teams are highly skilled, and work closely with families and external agencies to provide the right support at the right time.As part of the E-ACT Trust, we share a collective vision of opening minds and opening doors for all students. Through our core values of Courage, Care and Energy, we empower our young people to challenge themselves, support each other and approach every opportunity with enthusiasm.Our students benefit from a broad and engaging curriculum in Years 7–9, preparing them for informed choices at Key Stage 4. Across the five years they spend with us, our mission is not only to help them flourish academically, but to grow as responsible, ambitious and confident young adults.We offer a wide range of opportunities to broaden horizons—from language trips to Europe, to ski trips, and exciting leadership and enrichment programmes. Our creative subjects are among our strengths, with high achievement in Art, Hospitality and Catering, and Health and Social Care, delivered in our well-equipped facilities. For students passionate about the Performing Arts, our Music and Drama programmes provide regular platforms for rehearsal, performance, and creativity.We would be delighted to welcome you into our community.
