Welcome to Chenderit School

Our community is a tight knit and friendly one, where students and staff support each other and we achieve and exceed our goals individually, and collectively. We are committed to a comprehensive ethos and we achieve excellent results because we are an inclusive community that values learning in its broadest sense. We tailor experiences within the Sixth Form to ensure that every student is able to succeed in whichever pathway they choose. Not only are our students pushed to exceed their potential in their studies, but they also participate and benefit from a huge variety of wider experiences and opportunities such as our immersive enrichment programme, fantastic advice and guidance, new friends and the support of a superb and incredibly dedicated pastoral team. Please look through these pages to get a flavour of all we have to offer within our Sixth Form. To get a fuller experience, please contact us and we will happily welcome you for a visit – there is far more to see here in person than these pages can show!

Enrichment Activities

Show all activities
Enrichment is an important and exciting opportunity for young adults within our Sixth Form. It allows you to engage in a non-academic based curriculum and develop your interests and your skills. These skills will then help you to become a well-rounded, unique and employable individual who can leave our Sixth Form as an outgoing and confident young adult. Students in Year 12 are expected to complete a minimum of 30 hours of enrichment throughout the academic year and these hours are recorded in a personal log that each student will receive at the start of Year 12. The options students choose to take will help them to develop both as a learner and as a person, whilst also enabling them to develop skills that are linked to their career goals.
