Welcome to Aston University Engineering Academy

Welcome to Aston University Sixth Form; a hub for achievement, opportunity and experiences within the business, health and engineering fields. AU Sixth Form is part of Aston University STEM Education Academy Trust. Visit www.auea.co.ukI am very proud of our Sixth Form students. In 2024, 100% of our Year 13 students progressed to University, Apprenticeships or Employment. This is a testament to the quality of Post 16 teaching alongside the numerous industrial and personal development opportunities our students receive; thus giving them a head start into their future careers.I am confident that our state of the art science, business and engineering facilities coupled with the T Level, BTEC and A Level STEM pathways will provide our students with personalised pathways to achieve their aspirations. Alongside this, our strong industry links cannot be overlooked and are part of ‘what makes Aston University Sixth Form different’. Aston University Sixth Form students have a plethora of opportunities to work with partners such as Jacobs, Collins Aerospace, RAF, Aston University and many more.Enrichment activities combined with academic excellence are a recipe for success and Aston University Sixth Form see this as paramount to life at our Sixth Form. We expect all of our students to take part in enrichment activities such as projects, sports and STEM competitions. Not only do these activities help to mould our students into well rounded citizens but also encourages a sense of pride and belonging within the Sixth Form. Finally, myself and Aston University Sixth Form are committed to supporting every student that pursues their studies with us and I am confident that together, we will nurture our students into becoming highly successful STEM professionals.I look forward to working with you in the next academic year.
