Enrichment Activities

Show all activities
Alongside opportunities to gain formal qualifications and vocational training there is a full range of enrichment activities which will enable you to build a programme that is varied, relevant to your needs, motivating and enjoyable.

Performing Arts Academy
The Performing Arts Academy (PAA) is a space for students to explore their creativity and develop their talents in acting, singing, and dancing. It's a fun and supportive environment where you can learn new skills, build confidence, and collaborate with others who share your passion for the performing arts.
Combined Cadet Force (CCF)
The Combined Cadet Force (CCF) is a very big part of the extracurricular offer for students from Year 8. We have close to 200 students/cadets who regularly take part in the Wednesday parade after school and enjoy some of the amazing opportunities that are available to us through these military connections.
Adventure Academy
Adventure Academy includes all of the awesome outdoor activities that we offer here at Torquay Academy. The teachers that plan and run these activities have the same qualifications that the outdoor industry professionals have and the equipment available is as good, often better than, the equipment you’d find at an outdoor centre.
