SIXTH FORM AIMS

As a Sixth Form group, we aim to open more doors than any other provider for all our students, through empowering them to achieve their best.

To achieve the very best outcomes, Sixth Formers across all Harris sites are expected to meet our high expectation of academic and personal professionalism in all encounters. This includes subscribing to the following aims:

• To hold the highest personal and professional standards, including in appearance, attendance and punctuality, communication and approach to learning.
• A maintenance of high academic standards and the desire to achieve the very best outcomes
• A commitment to the development of literacy and numeracy regardless of a student's chosen programme of study
• To make an active contribution to their Sixth Form community through student leadership and enrichment
• To make an investment in their careers education so they prepare to achieve and sustain the best destinations
• A commitment to academic enrichment and support, including attendance to masterclasses and revision sessions outside of the timetabled day
