Welcome Message
Welcome
We thank you for your interest in our school and taking the time to get to know Cleeve Park School and the values we stand for. At Cleeve Park, we offer a Post 16 education that prepares students for whatever their next step in life holds. Not all students know what they want to do when they finish school, so we see it as our responsibility and honour to support young people navigate this stage of their education, preparing them for the known and unknown world ahead. The excellent support and guidance throughout Years 12 and 13 provide each member of our sixth form with the expert advice and guidance required to assist with the next step in their lives, be it university, apprenticeship or employment.
We provide a comprehensive curriculum that will enable young people to specialise or have a broad Key Stage 5 offer that will allow choices to be made at a later stage. We have excellent facilities that support the independent learning that is required at Key Stage 5, but also maintain the pastoral and social support that young people need.
Here at Cleeve Park School we understand the importance of supporting you through your development both inside and outside of school. Outside of the traditional courses offered at Post 16, we have offered a Football Academy pathway for many years. Students enrol at Cleeve Park School to become part of our Post 16 cohort and are taught within a classroom setting at either T or A Level, therefore earning UCAS points for further education.
The Cleeve Park School & Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) Post 16 Football and Education Academy is aimed at all students aged 16-19 years who are interested in combining their education with the life of a professional footballer.
CACT and Cleeve Park School offer the option of studying a T Level in Sport or 3 A Levels while playing in an academy environment after school. Students will compete within a competitive league while studying. This programme can provide routes into professional and semi-professional football, as well as educational opportunities such as university, American sports scholarships, employment
Our pastoral team ensure that our Post 16 students are encouraged to build skills of resilience and independence but also we understand that this is not necessarily straightforward or easy. Students have access to a newly refurbished private study suite staffed by an experienced Study Supervisor.
We have also introduced silent study rooms, timetabled for every period, to provide an environment for extended writing and literary learning for those students whose needs require a smaller environment. The students also have their own canteen which provides a more relaxed environment at break and lunch away from the main part of the school.
We look forward to welcoming you so that you experience our offer for yourself and immerse yourself in our unique and vibrant community of learners who, with expert teaching and support, strive to be the very best that they can be.

Enrichment Activities
Show all activitiesThe Senior Student Leadership Team plays a vital role in the Sixth Form and makes a significant impact across the school, embodying our commitment to British Values. Students are elected through a democratic process that includes hustings and a secret ballot. They are central to the life of the school, contributing in numerous ways. For instance, our student leaders mentor targeted students, serve as ambassadors at various events, and set an example for their peers. Their contributions are highlighted through their organisation of charity and sporting events and their dedication to being active role models for the wider student body.
