Welcome to Newent Community School and Sixth Form Centre

Thank you for taking the time to reach our Sixth Form pages. We hope that you will find all information you need within them.

We are very proud of our strong sense of community in Newent and our Sixth Form is no exception. A strong and positive relationship with staff is the key to success; you will be fully supported both academically and pastorally by our experienced teachers and tutors.Developing your confidence and potential is extremely important to us. We believe that this is a very exciting period in your life; the choices you make will open many doors for you. We want to support you in your goals. We have high expectations of each of our students, many of whom go on to study at university or beat the competition in gaining much sought after apprenticeships and employment.

Whether you wish to get involved in organising social events, mentoring younger students,or volunteering within the community as part of your enrichment, you can be assured that you will be challenged and excited by the opportunities available to you during your time with us in the Sixth Form. Naturally, the more you get involved with Sixth Form life, the more you will enjoy the experience!

I wish you the very best in your studies and look forward to welcoming you personally to our Sixth Form.
