Courses studied: Maths, Psychology and Sociology Teaching was always my goal so I chose Maths, Psychology and Sociology because the diverse topics meant I could learn a wide range of skills that would be beneficial to my future career. All the teachers and sixth form staff are always very accommodating and have been a big help in supporting me in where I want to go post 18. They offered talks with people in professions, advice on university and apprenticeships. They have also greatly helped my confidence to improve by giving me support on how to conduct myself during an interview and how to speak professionally. The sixth form team have been a huge help in helping my succeed in all that I wish to do!

Courses studied: Criminology, Health and Social Care and Sociology The subject which I have enjoyed the most was Sociology as I enjoyed learning and developing a keen interest about how to relate the theories and content to real life situations or issues. This had given me a good insight about the world around us. Even though this year was an obstacle for everyone due to COVID, I have enjoyed my time in the Sixth Form and it supported me to mature and develop into someone who is responsible, resilient and a committed individual and I couldn’t have done this if it wasn’t from the support from a hardworking and understanding sixth form team. I appreciate all the time and patience they when working with me.

Head Girl 2020-2021. Courses studied: English, Media and Sociology In Sixth Form I studied English, Media and Sociology, with each one being taught with enthusiasm by really supportive teachers. Every member of the sixth form team made the transition smooth when coming back from lockdown, by supporting us and making sure we knew what to do and how to achieve the best grades considering the time we had off. I cannot thank TGAR enough for the support they have given me over the past 2 years.
