Kate has achieved so much since leaving WGHS, receiving a Masters Degree in Product Design Engineering from Loughborough, during which time she set up her own business ExpHand Prosthetics. Kate’s company has developed an upper body limb prosthetic for children which is lightweight, adjustable, affordable, colourful and most importantly that grows with the user. She has received a number of accolades and her business is going from strength to strength. We are so proud to be part of her journey and her plaque now resides in our reception area to inspire current and future students for years to come. Congratulations Kate!

My years at Girls' High played an immense role in shaping the person I am today. The big moments were always so special: winning races on Sports Day, organising charity events and giving speeches as Head Girl. The small moments even more so: spending time on the fields with friends, working hard in lessons and supporting younger students during form time. Whenever I look back, I am very grateful for the connections I made there, and the space I was given to make an impact in my own way. I'll always be a Girls' High girl at heart!
