Welcome to Marylebone Boys' School

Located in the heart of Westminster, MBS Sixth Form is an inspiring place to learn and grow. Whether you are a prospective student or a parent, we are excited to share what makes our sixth form such a fantastic community.

Our dedicated staff are committed to excellence, offering a broad range of A-Level options.

MBS Sixth Form has a strong track record of academic success, particularly in STEM subjects, where 31% of Mathematics students achieved grades A*-A. Our achievements extend to the Humanities and Modern Foreign Languages, with 83% of History students and 75% of Spanish students attaining grades A*-C . Many of our students go on to study at top universities, including Oxford, Cambridge and Cardiff university.

Alongside their academic studies, our students benefit from invaluable career insights through our long-standing partnerships with local businesses. Opportunities include work experience placements, roundtable discussions, workshops, development days, and industry-led presentations.

We welcome students from all backgrounds and are committed to ensuring that every young person feels safe, valued, and supported. Our strong pastoral care, safeguarding, and SEND provisions provide the guidance and encouragement that your son or daughter needs to succeed and thrive.

Enrichment Activities

At MBS we believe that supporting our students’ personal development is crucial in supporting their academic studies and in creating young men and women who are ready to enter into higher education and a professional career. The MBS ethos aims to shape our students into responsible, caring individuals, who demonstrate integrity, flexibility, excellent communication skills and a sense of social responsibility. To do this we provide an additional enrichment curriculum of different activities and experiences beyond the traditional subjects taught in the classroom.

Duke of Edinburgh Award

We run a highly successful Duke of Edinburgh Award programme that sixth form students are encouraged to participate in Silver or Gold level.

Sixth Form Prefect

Students have the opportunity to become prefects, representing their peers and developing leadership, resilience, and teamwork. Prefects serve as role models, help organise events, and represent the school at open days.

Tutor Time Programme

The programme comprises guided discussions and presentations that aim to develop leadership and enhance learning beyond the classroom.
