Enrichment Activities

Show all activities
At MBS we believe that supporting our students’ personal development is crucial in supporting their academic studies and in creating young men and women who are ready to enter into higher education and a professional career. The MBS ethos aims to shape our students into responsible, caring individuals, who demonstrate integrity, flexibility, excellent communication skills and a sense of social responsibility. To do this we provide an additional enrichment curriculum of different activities and experiences beyond the traditional subjects taught in the classroom.

Duke of Edinburgh Award
We run a highly successful Duke of Edinburgh Award programme that sixth form students are encouraged to participate in Silver or Gold level.
Sixth Form Prefect
Students have the opportunity to become prefects, representing their peers and developing leadership, resilience, and teamwork. Prefects serve as role models, help organise events, and represent the school at open days.
Tutor Time Programme
The programme comprises guided discussions and presentations that aim to develop leadership and enhance learning beyond the classroom.
