Welcome to Chapeltown Academy
I am delighted that you are showing an interest in Chapeltown Academy, and I hope that this prospectus gives you a flavour of who we are and the wealth of opportunities we have on offer. the college has gone through significant change in recent months, which has resulted in my appointment as Principal and other key appointments across my Senior Leadership Team. This is an exciting time to be joining Chapeltown Academy. Already Ofsted 'Good', we are now firmly on an improvement journey to offer our students an outstanding experience and be the best post-16 provider in the north of Sheffield. We have implemented several new systems to support our dedicated staff, and it is no exaggeration to say that there has been a real transformation in how the college operates. Whether you wish to study A-levels, BTECs or a mixture of both, there will no doubt be a study programme that is suited to support your progression. In addition to this, we have a wide range of opportunities that will allow you to explore where your interests lie, such as our Aspire to Achieve programme, enrichment and the chance to travel - in the UK and abroad! Our biggest asset is our young people, and we have an environment here that allows students to focus on their learning and teachers to focus on delivering excellent lessons. We believe that all our students have strengths and areas to develop, and we take great pride in developing and building on those strengths and helping them to become the best versions of themselves. We are passionate about improving the life chances of our young people and I hope that you will join us for the next stage of your educational journey -once you become a student at Chapeltown Academy you will always be a member of our community and will create memories and relationships that last a lifetime. Best wishes, Dominic Pinto Principal
