Welcome to Holy Trinity Academy
WELCOME TO HOLY TRINITY ACADEMY’S SIXTH FORM
At Holy Trinity Academy Sixth Form we seek to create a unique learning community for everyone. Our Christian community works hard together to provide an experience that has life and learning at its heart and is always reflective of the values of the Gospel.
Our Sixth Form students are well supported by experienced Sixth Form teachers and tutors who provide a high level of support and guidance, both pastorally and academically. This will enable students to maximise their potential both working as an individual and as part of a wider community.
Our Sixth Form Community has a dedicated work space with access to the latest technologies, including an individual laptop for the duration of student time in the Sixth Form. Sixth Form students have full access to the resources of the school that include the state of the art Science laboratories, ICT suites, Art and Media rooms, Performing Arts facilities and a wide range of flexible learning spaces for use across all subject areas.
Students follow a personalised programme of study with a wide range of A Level courses offered and all students complete an Extended Project Qualification.
All students are encouraged to take an active part in Enrichment Activities, allowing them the opportunity to take part in and develop new skills including leadership and mentoring of younger students.
Our Sixth Form is somewhere students can prepare for the next stage of their lives. The life of the Sixth Form is about preparing all of our students for the outside world and equipping them with the skills, qualifications and attitude needed to be successful. In this sense, motivation from all those associated with the Sixth Form is key.
You will find further details on all subjects in this prospectus. We look forward to receiving your application.”
— Mr J Doust, Key Stage 5 Manager.
