Sixth Form students thrive at Kingsmead because they are supported to take ambitious next steps on their educational journey and nurtured to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding to be successful in their chosen fields. With specialist teaching across 23 different subject areas, we inspire students to excel, be it in traditional courses such as Chemistry, English and Maths, or modern subjects such as Criminology and Creative Media. Our specialist staff are dedicated to ensuring every student achieves their full potential, often going far beyond expected progress. The success of our students speaks for itself. In Summer 2025, our sixth formers celebrated outstanding results, securing places at some of the UK’s most prestigious universities. These included Oxbridge and Russell Group institutions, where students went on to study subjects as varied as Medicine, Maths and Statistics, and Computer Games Development.
