We are delighted to invite you to one of our Open Mornings. This is a unique opportunity to see the Academy in action during the school day and get a firsthand look at our dynamic learning environment.

During the Open Morning, you will enjoy a personal tour of our state-of-the-art facilities led by our Principal, James Murray-Walsh. You will also gain valuable insight into Global Academy’s goals, expectations, and how we prepare students for exciting futures in the media and entertainment industry.

Open Mornings will take place from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on the dates listed below.

We are offering a free Computer Science intervention for up to 15 students to help them prepare for their GCSE exams. These sessions are open to all students, regardless of their exam board, and will focus on key topics to build knowledge, confidence, and exam skills.

📅 Session Dates:

• Saturday, 22nd February 2025
• Saturday, 1st March 2025
• Saturday, 8th March 2025

⏰ Time: 10 AM – 12 PM (2 hours per session)
📍 Location: Global Academy

Please Note: Students who sign up are expected to attend all three sessions to ensure all areas are covered.

Each session will be divided into:
✅ 1 hour on Paper 1: Computer Systems
✅ 1 hour on Paper 2: Programming and Computational Thinking

These sessions are exam board non-specific, making them suitable for all GCSE students. Spaces are limited to 15 students, so sign up now to secure your place!

• Year 10: Study your core GCSEs alongside a Level 2 Diploma in Creative Media.
• Year 12: Dive into your Sixth Form experience with a Level 3 Extended Diploma in a variety of creative courses.
• Year 14: Take your skills further with a Level 4 Professional Diploma in Creative Enterprise, a free alternative to university, focused on preparing you for success in the industry.
