Welcome to Brigshaw Sixth FormOur Brigshaw Learning Partnership Trust mission is to provide a cradle to career education that allows our children to enjoy lives of choice and opportunity. Leaving school and progressing into sixth form life is an exciting venture, the start of a completely new phase in your life.We are committed to creating exceptional learning opportunities for all of our students in sixth form, where we will support and challenge you to help you recognise and develop your talents, skills and create a platform for you to progress onto a bright and successful future. Our aim is to encourage you to be the best version of yourself by fully engaging in your learning programme, enrichment offer and opportunities to explore careers, apprenticeships and higher education.Our dedicated and experienced staff will help you to prepare for your post 18 pathway by providing you with the knowledge, academic support and personalised guidance required to succeed in a respectful, safe and welcoming community. We offer a broad curriculum encompassing a wide choice of subject qualifications whilst being an accessible and inclusive sixth form provision where every student is treated as an individual. Our aim is to encourage you to be the best version of yourself by fully engaging in your learning programme, enrichment offer and opportunities to explore careers, apprenticeships and higher education.

Duke of Edinburgh
The DofE award is about you and your friends sharing amazing experiences together, having fun, and just maybe changing your futures along the way. Doing your Award helps to turn the things you love, and the things you’ve always wanted to try, into powerful lifelong skills that can help you get a job, change your community, and take on anything life throws your way. And yes, there’s going to be a bit of camping involved.
Student leadership
‍The Student Leadership Teamis made up of all Year Captains and Vice-Captains. The Student Leadership team meets throughout the term to discuss issues and changes in the school. The Student Leadership Team will also take part in Student Panels and meet with visitors to the school. They will support events like Open Evening. This is an incredible opportunity for any student.
