Welcome to Outwood Academy Danum

We are delighted to welcome you to our Post 16 provision, with all the expertise and support across a range of subjects, which come together with one mission - to provide the very best quality education for all students. This quality education starts in the classroom, with subject specialist staff with a passion for their subjects. All subjects will now be placed at Outwood Academy Danum, ensuring that you receive the very best teaching. Ofsted recognise that pupils leave the school with qualifications that allow them to access higher education, training and employment. However, we are also very proud of our dedication to help students develop broader skill sets through our new Outwood + enrichment programme. Working side by side with expert career advice and supportive staff mentors, we ensure that all students who attend our provision develop a comprehensive personal development portfolio. This allows our pupils to go onto their next stage with confidence, be it in further education or in the world of work. Indeed, many of our students secured great places at universities across the country, and indeed in the competitive apprenticeship arena. We are proud that Ofsted recognised we are an inclusive school where pupils of every background are provided with the opportunities they need to be successful. At our post-16 provision, you can guarantee fabulous and bespoke support throughout your programme of study: staff will work tirelessly to support you, and we expect you to work and study effectively to make the most of your time and the support offered. We look forward to welcoming you to the academy and starting the next stage in your exciting journey.
