Welcome to The Grove School
Here at Grove Sixth Form, we are very proud of the standards achieved by past and present students across all areas of Sixth Form life. We are committed to making Grove Sixth Form a centre of excellence for all our students in The Grove School to aspire to and we make no apologies for expecting the very best for and from our students. We aim to prepare our students for the academic and personal challenges they will face in future years. Our Sixth Form students are leaders and role models, and we have high expectations of them. Students are expected to work with commitment to their studies. The adult atmosphere within the Sixth Form means that students have more responsibility for their own learning and greater independence to manage their time effectively. We do, however, provide support and opportunities for all our students so that they can achieve their potential, providing the best possible platform for their future. Our Sixth Form centre provides the perfect environment for our students to succeed. Our modern and spacious study rooms are great spaces in which to work, and our common room and kitchen are areas in which students can relax or study more informally. The outside space provides students with a space to relax outside during warmer months and to study outside if they wish. Our students have a high profile within the wider school and local community, and we offer a variety of enrichment and social opportunities to balance their academic studies and support future university or job applications. We look forward to welcoming every new year group to our sixth form and ask that students do not hesitate to ask if they would like to know anything before or after joining. If you require any further information, then do not hesitate to get in touch via email: nicola.warrender@gro.mmat.co.uk Nicola Warrender-Dodds Associate Assistant Headteacher for Post 16 and Personal Development.
