Welcome to Eden Boys' Leadership Academy, Bradford

A very warm welcome to Eden Boys’ Leadership Academy, Bradford, where we aim to provide each and every one of our pupils with a first-class education shaped by strong teaching, outstanding pastoral care and a wide range of leadership and enrichment opportunities.

Through creating a culture of high expectations and identifying our pupils’ individual learning needs and talents, we encourage all of our pupils to mine the depths of their potential and achieve to the best of their capabilities. We expect our pupils to show an excellent attitude to their learning and maintain high standards of behaviour, attendance and punctuality. Whilst our focus remains on creating an optimum environment for learning and delivering a curriculum that allows pupils of all abilities to make excellent progress from their respective starting points, we do not measure the success of our pupils by academic outcomes alone. Our STAR values – Service, Teamwork, Ambition and Respect – are at the heart of our Academy community and help to develop our pupils’ character, conduct and self-confidence so that they become ambassadors for the Academy, the local community and society as a whole.

Our pastoral team works incredibly hard to safeguard our pupils’ emotional and physical well-being and ensure all of our pupils feel safe, happy and supported in school. Pupils benefit from a diverse range of activities that enhance their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.

Through fostering strong and effective relationships with staff, governors, parents and the local community, our aim is to create a school that is a cornerstone of the local community and succeeds in its vision to nurture today’s young people and inspire tomorrow’s leaders.

Eden Boys’ Leadership Academy, Bradford, is part of Star Academies, one of the country’s leading education providers. Several of the Trust’s faith schools are amongst the very best in the country, which means we benefit from the support of a wider professional network that has consistently achieved outstanding outcomes for children and young people. We will work in close partnership with, and build on the success of, other Trust schools to ensure our pupils are supported to excel academically, personally and socially.

We firmly believe that a successful student has more to offer than a set of exam results, particularly if they are to fulfill their potential as future leaders in multi-cultural 21st century Britain. The sixth form will offer a range of activities that allow all our young people to develop their unique talents and demonstrate a wide set of skills and personal qualities beyond those simply required for academic success.
