Welcome to Kineton High School
The Sixth Form at Kineton High School is absolutely integral to the success and life of the school.
Our Sixth Formers are respectful, mature, extremely loyal and are proactive about making a difference; not just to the school but to the wider community.
We are very proud of our Sixth Form and of the students who choose to stay with us after their GCSEs; our sense of community is strong and we continue to welcome students from all areas of Warwickshire and North Oxfordshire.
Post 16 courses are delivered by strong subject experts who will challenge and support their students. A sense of individuality is not only fostered but encouraged, to ensure that each and every learner achieves their personal best.
This dedication to our Sixth Form and the culture within it has seen a dramatic improvement in outcomes over the past 5 years. You will be able to see from this prospectus how our students are aspirational, dedicated and successful.

I left Kineton sixth form in 2015 with A*AA in maths, further maths and physics. I went on to Imperial College London to study Electrical and Electronic engineering and finished the 4 year course with a first class MEng qualification. I currently work at Partner Electronics Ltd in Silverstone as an electronics engineer. I look back on my time at Kineton fondly and hope all the current students can still enjoy it despite the pandemic!

University
After achieving A, A, B at Kineton Sixth Form, I am now currently studying Fashion Management in my first year at Nottingham Trent University, which was my first choice. I am currently undertaking modules in textiles & product, marketing, design and visuals. This is something I have always been interested in and Kineton has helped me achieve my goal of studying fashion. In the future I would like to pursue a career in buying where I will decide and buy fabrics from all over the world which would be most suitable for the brand’s garment. With my course in February I will be visiting Premiere Vision in Paris which is a fabric trade show. I also have the opportunity to visit New York next year and undergo a placement year. I am therefore very excited for what the next few years have to hold.

My name is Oliver Whitehouse, I studied at Kineton my entire secondary school life and then went on to sixth form as well. I believe completed my studies in June of 2016. Since studying at Kineton I went onto university and achieved a first class degree in graphic design from Coventry university. Throughout my time at university I built a small base of clients and worked as a freelance photographer/videographer. The end of my university studies coincided with the start of the pandemic and consequently the job market for young creatives folded almost instantly. Despite this I continued to work on building my portfolio of freelance clients and fast forward a year later, I now run my own creative agency called White Space Collective. Specialising in Video marketing and video production for corporate businesses.
