Extra-curricular

Today’s universities and employers seek well-rounded individuals who have explored a range of experiences to develop their skills and character. To this end, Kineton High School offers a rich programme of extra-curricular activities. Students are encouraged to participate in a range of opportunities that build skills and provide valuable lessons for life. All students in Year 12 choose one enrichment option that is completed during their independent study time in addition to undertaking a week of Work Experience relevant to their studies and future career.

Student Leadership

At Kineton Sixth, student leadership forms a large part of sixth form life. Being part of our leadership team will allow you to develop personal skills such as communication, organisation, responsibility and resilience in addition to being part of shaping the experiences of both Sixth Form students and students lower down the school. It will also allow you to develop a comprehensive portfolio of evidence for personal statements, job applications and CVs.

Charity Work

The Sixth Form prides itself on its charity fundraising. Over the last four years the Sixth Form, working with the whole school and the wider community, have raised in excess of £20,000 for charities such as UNICEF, Clic Sargent, Asthma UK, Young Mind, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, Cancer Research and Macmillan Cancer Support. Fundraising initiatives include the annual Sponsored Challenge, bonanza of Christmas events, auction, Charity Show, and various charity week events.
