Submit your grades to your Admissions+ account as soon as possible and email admissions@longroad.ac.uk
Unfortunately, it is very unlikely that we will be able to offer you a place with us after September. You are welcome to contact the admissions department for more information.
All options, including re-taking GCSEs, will be discussed with you at your Advice and Guidance Meeting.
The application deadline is 13th January 2026. Any applications received after this date may be placed on a waiting list if we are oversubscribed.
No – we offer Advice and Guidance Meetings to all applicants who meet the admissions criteria.
Your final grades, reference and chosen courses are discussed. The meeting is also an opportunity to discuss any changes to your study programme before you join the college.
Please make sure you submit your grades to your Admissions+ account. Once you have submitted your results, we will be able to schedule an enrolment meeting with you to discuss your options.
Your interviewer will update your Admissions+ account with your chosen courses and conditional offer. You will be sent a confirmation email alerting you to the update. Once you have received this confirmation email, you need to log in to your Admissions+ account to accept the offer.
Don’t worry, you will be contacted by our admissions team about arranging a meeting at a later point. Please remember, the date of your guidance meeting does not impact your application in any way.
You will have the opportunity to discuss your subjects and make changes to your application at your Advice and Guidance Meeting. If you wish to make any changes after this, please email admissions@longroad.ac.uk. A further opportunity to request changes to your study programme will also be available during enrolment, once you have obtained your final results.
You must log in to your Admissions+ Application and click “Personal Details”. If you have lost access to your application and need to change your personal email address, please contact admissions@longroad.ac.uk.

Our Advice & Guidance Meetings are informal discussions, lasting around 25 minutes, with an experienced member of our staff. You will discuss your subjects, extracurricular interests and career aspirations with your interviewer, who will be able to offer advice and guidance on your study programme. It is also your opportunity to discuss any additional support you may require. Your parent/carer is encouraged to attend your Advice and Guidance Meeting with you.
Yes, there are lots of possible combinations of courses which are explained in our Prospectus. You will need to meet the entry requirements for all courses you wish to study; entry requirements can be found on individual course pages.
Yes, we accept all qualifications equivalent to GCSEs. If you are unsure about your qualifications, please email admissions@longroad.ac.uk
You need to apply via our website. If applying from overseas, we will consider your application based on the comparability of your qualifications to UK GCSEs. Additional information, such as school transcripts or travel documents, may also be requested via email – these can be sent to admissions@longroad.ac.uk.
