Welcome to Chessington School
It is an exciting time for Chessington’s Sixth Form as we launch new courses and enhance the current courses to deliver an even higher standard of post-16 provision. We currently run sports academies in basketball, football and sports coaching, all of which are combined with studying for a Level 3 vocational qualification in sport.
Our sports academies give students the opportunity to combine academic studies with playing high-level competitive sports. Students compete against some of the best college/academy and league teams both regionally and nationally, as well as being able to potentially apply for scholarship opportunities in America and other countries. We also run a qualification in Childcare and Education.
This course is delivered in partnership with Piglets Preschool, which is based on-site here at Chessington and provides an excellent work experience opportunity. These courses run alongside superb pastoral and career guidance to ensure that students are fully equipped for the next stage of their life, be that University, an apprenticeship or employment. I look forward to welcoming you in person to our Sixth Form.

Enrichment Activities
Show all activitiesChessington School offers a wide variety of clubs before school, at lunch and after school. Students are encouraged to take full advantage of the clubs on offer. The club timetables will be updated on a termly basis, so please do check back throughout the academic year for the most up-to-date timetable.
Our sports are central to our ethos and our relentless focus on outstanding achievement. We teach an extensive range of sport and physical education courses. We demand the very highest standards in these courses.
