Welcome to Unity Academy!

It's an immense privilege to lead our all-through academy, supported by our enthusiastic students, ambitious staff, supportive parents, and committed governors. Our website offers a glimpse into the exciting learning opportunities available.

Since 2014, Unity Academy has been completely transformed, providing bright, modern learning facilities for all students aged 2 to 16. Our motto, "In Unity, we succeed," drives our commitment to high expectations and ensures every pupil defines, desires, demands and delivers their own success.

Beyond the classroom, we offer a rich extra-curricular program and an "entitlement curriculum" designed to enrich lives. From sport, music, and drama to activities like cooking, we provide varied and exciting opportunities. Despite being a large site with many students, we maintain a focus on individual needs, working closely with families.

We hold high expectations of all, with a clear focus on our ethos of Ready, Respectful and Safe that underpins our values and actions at all times.

Part of Fylde Coast Academy Trust (FCAT) since 2013, we have developed a wide-ranging and rich curriculum working closely with other providers to give our pupils various options and pathways towards their future choices. We continue to enhance our provision, including our Forest School and Scout Group, always seeking to improve the life chances of our young people.
