Welcome Message

It is my pleasure to welcome you to our 6th form page. Reaching the end of compulsory education and choosing the place to continue your studies marks a momentous moment in the life of a young person.

The place you choose to study, and the subjects you choose, will undoubtedly have an impact on the options available to you in the future, and this is why it is so important for young people to feel well supported during this stage of their education.

At CCS we pride ourselves on our teaching and learning at AS and A2 level, but also on our wellbeing and pastoral support systems for our 6th form students. We aim to maximise potential in all areas for the young people in our care, and though our results are excellent, we aim to produce well-rounded citizens who go off to further education, training or the workplace with more than just excellent results behind them.

Our enrichment programme, our form tutor system and our caring and supportive staff ensure that your child receives the best experience possible at 6th form level, and that they learn and have experiences both inside and outside the classroom. Please do peruse our website and our social media platforms and do not hesitate to contact us if you require further information.

Our annual 6th form open evening is also an excellent opportunity to get to know our school and staff better. I look forward to meeting you and working alongside you to ensure we maximise your child's potential at this important stage of their education.
