When I arrived at college I didn’t know anyone there, and within the first day I remember a group of students took me in and made sure that I wasn’t alone. Prior was always a place of friendship filled with kind people which I appreciated so much.

When I was at Prior, I wanted to be a doctor and had received an offer from Newcastle Uni to study medicine. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the grades. With my whole life being geared towards going to medical school I was a bit lost and unsure of what I wanted to do. When my friends went off to Uni, I took some time to go travelling in Europe.

During my time at Prior Pursglove College, I had studied A-Level Business Studies, A-Level Health & Social care and B-Tec Law. By studying the variety of subjects I had chosen, it had broadened my career options. This had allowed me to determine that I was mostly interested in pursuing a career within Finance. I had then went on to studying an undergraduate Accounting & Finance degree at Teesside University, graduating with a First Class Honours.
