Extra-curricular

At Notre Dame all students are encouraged to develop skills outside of their academic study which will enrich your applications for university or the world of work. This nonqualification activity is in place to help you to develop the skills which organisations are looking for in future employees.
Charity Activities

Our Sixth Form students are invited to work with our Academy Chaplain, Miss Wall and participate in our Faith in Action Awards. This award gives you the opportunity to explore your faith, support charitable activities both in Academy and in the community and to provide support to lower school students who are completing their own element of the Faith in Action Awards.

NCS & DofE

Many of our Sixth Form students take the opportunity to participate in National Citizen Service activities and / or the Duke of Edinburgh Awards, both of which offer enriching and exciting experiences, team building exercises and opportunities to form new friendships and connections!

Trips, Speakers, Workshops and Skills Development

Our Sixth Form students benefit from inspirational trips related to your specific courses. To support your progression into Higher Education and Employment, we host many workshops and visiting speakers from UCAS, Higher Education providers, as well as employers and apprenticeship providers. We host visiting speakers relating to the various courses we offer as well as industry professionals who provide an insight into various career pathways.
