Welcome to St John's Catholic Comprehensive
Thank you for your interest in St John’s Sixth Form.St John’s Sixth Form is a vibrant, supportive community where students are encouraged to grow, discover their strengths and begin shaping their future. Our mission is simple: to help every student become the best version of themselves - academically, spiritually and personally - as they take their next steps toward adulthood.Students studying within St John’s Sixth Form benefit from exceptional teaching delivered by dedicated subject specialists who inspire, challenge and guide them to achieve their full potential. Whether a student aspires to university, an apprenticeship or employment, our staff provide the expertise, encouragement and personalised support needed to succeed. As senior members of the school community, our Sixth Form students play an important role in modelling the values we hold dear. Rooted in our Catholic ethos, we celebrate kindness, integrity and ‘Service to Others,’ encouraging students to contribute to the wider community through charitable initiatives and voluntary work. High standards of attendance, punctuality, conduct and presentation are part of the professional culture we nurture, helping students develop the confidence and maturity required for life beyond school.Opportunities to take on leadership roles, mentor younger students and collaborate with staff across the school help students strengthen essential skills such as teamwork, communication and public speaking. Alongside this, our enrichment programme offers a wide range of experiences—creative, physical, social and cultural—designed to broaden horizons and support personal growth.St John’s Sixth Form is a place where students are known, supported and inspired. We look forward to welcoming new members to our community and helping them thrive in every aspect of their journey.Mr RowlinsonHead of Key Stage 5
