Assessment

Component 1: Principles of Design and Technology (written examination - 50%) Component 2: Substantial design and make prototype task (Non-examined assessment - 50%) Over the course of this module students will select a client/user group for which they must design and manufacture a product to meet a particular need. Students will work closely with their client/user group in order to design, develop and prototype a commercially viable product.
