Course summary

This is a vocational qualification for 19+ learners seeking a career as an employed or self-employed hair stylist. It will prepare you to gain employment as a hair stylist at an advanced level by teaching you all the skills and knowledge required for this role. You will learn how to colour hair and how to correct hair colour. You will also learn how to cut, style, and dress hair to create a variety of looks. In addition, you’ll learn how to provide consultation support, promote and sell products, and follow health and safety procedures.
