Assessment

Students are assessed by external examination in Units 1 and 3. Students’ work is assessed internally and externally verified for Units 2 and 4. This work can include performances, rehearsals, presentations, interviews and evaluations, often in the form of a Performer’s Diary. Each student will be set an Assignment Brief which breaks down the tasks and criteria for each unit. Students will receive feedback to help them make progress. At the end of each unit, students will receive a Pass, Merit or Distinction grade which reflects their attainment.
